Fara Flados DVM

I was born and raised in Austin Tx, but I have come to find San Antonio as my second home. I reside with my little fuzzy, brindle dog named Scarlett, who I adopted in late 2013. You may even have a chance to see her if she happens to sneak up front as I am lucky enough to bring her to work with me everyday. In my free time, I love reading and many outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, etc. I received both my bachelor’s in Bio Medical Sciences in 2009 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 From Texas A & M University. Whoop ! I am currently a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association. With having witnessed the natural aging issues of my own animals, my aim is to keep your pets happy and healthy as long as possible by providing high quality medicine and treatment.

Hello my name is Patti and I have been married for 27 years and have three children.

I worked at Converse Animal Shelter and served on the Board of Directors for 16 years.
I really enjoy helping clients care for their 4-legged family members. Since I was a little girl I have been rescuing some homeless cat or dog in need and coming to work at Converse Animal Hospital seems to be a natural extension of that passion.

I have two cats (one is a new rescue) and in my spare time I Sing with the Worship team at church and I enjoy traveling, running and home design.

Sandy – Special Projects

I am married and have two beautiful daughters Adrienne and Alexandra, Adrienne has two beautiful children and Alex has a son and an Active Duty Husband.

I have a lifelong love of animals, which has led me to the veterinary field for over 30 years ago. I very much enjoy meeting new people and the pets they love.
We share our home with 3 dogs, a few kitties, a barn yard full of chickens and a barn full of horses.

In my spare time I love fishing and crabbing on the coast and just hanging out in the barn and enjoying all of my animals.

Hello, my name is Dee and I have been working as a receptionist with Converse Animal Hospital for ten years plus. My love for animals and the satisfaction I get from meeting and working with people brought me here.

My hobbies include quilting, baking, fishing, and hiking.

I find working here very rewarding and look forward to even more years.
